What is on the horizon

This past week I got a look at what lay ahead for me in my work and I must say, it's exciting!
I not only get to improve and expand my passion to help develop people for Kingdom work, but now get to coach newly married couples as well as per-marrieds as they navigate though the first critical years of marriage. I also have the oportunity to lead a team of people who will be insrumental in what i think is one of the most exciting events to hit Glasgow in years; re-awakening student conference. In the short term I look forward to seeing a team of family and friends come over here from the states and work with me for a week. Stay tuned for how all these thing go.

Hit again

On Sunday night during Re:Hope's Church service I was standing at the back looking at all that was going on. Sometimes it is critical for me to just stop, yes even in worship, and look around me. I absorb all that is going on, I take it in and it's great. What? you ask. Well that night, as I paused, I took in a couple people standing up in the balcony, out of the sight of most, just praying really hard for the church. I take in the worship experience that is resounding all around me, not just the emotion, but the greatness and focus with which it's played. I smiled as I reflected on the tons of victories that I have seen in the lives of these dear people sitting all around me, my community. And I am strengthened knowing that an amazing team of people are advancing this church through obedience. And I marvel at the reality that I am call into such a great experience as this. Thanks be to God!

So finally the illnesses are gone and we usher in the new year in good health.
